In San Giuliano Milanese and Canegrate, in the province of Milan, Tony e Ale Impianti S.r.l. has installed two solar PV systems with Heiwit sodium-ion battery storage. Two projects with different power ratings, sharing the goal of making the most of solar energy even beyond the hours of production.

Tony e Ale Impianti: experience and tailor-made solutions

With its operational base in Barlassina (MB), Tony e Ale Impianti specialises in installing solar PV systems for the residential, commercial and industrial sectors.

Having gained experience through projects carried out from the north to the south of Italy, the company now operates mainly in Lombardy. A team of qualified and certified technicians supports each customer in creating customised solutions, with attention to the quality of the work and to meeting deadlines.

For both projects, the company chose a 6 kW Heiwit Virgo inverter paired with a 10 kWh sodium-ion battery storage system.

In San Giuliano Milanese, the system is connected to a solar PV array of 8.28 kWp, while in Canegrate the installed capacity is 4.6 kWp. The two configurations thus combine solar production with the ability to store energy that is not used immediately.

Solar energy available in the evening too

Battery storage makes it possible to shift part of energy use to the hours when the solar PV system is not producing, for example in the evening. This promotes self-consumption and helps reduce the energy drawn from the grid, depending on production and usage habits.

The two projects combine the experience of Tony e Ale Impianti with Heiwit technology, bringing sodium-ion battery storage to new projects in Lombardy.
