Lybra is Heiwit's three-phase hybrid inverter, available in three sizes: the 6K-T at 6 kW, the 10K-T at 10 kW and the 12K-T at 12 kW. It accepts up to 18 kW of solar PV across 3 MPPTs, between 130 and 800 V. It manages Heiwit's sodium-ion batteries on 2 inputs, with up to 3 batteries in parallel for 30 kWh. It switches to backup in less than 10 ms. Maximum efficiency is 98.2% and the protection rating is IP65. The Heiwit warranty is 10 years, with service in Italy. It is sold and installed exclusively through the Heiwit installer network.

Frequently Asked Questions about the Lybra inverter

Which model should I choose: the Lybra 6K-T, 10K-T or 12K-T?

The three models differ in terms of rated output power (6, 10 and 12 kW), maximum power (6.6, 11 and 13.2 kVA) and maximum output current (10, 16 and 20 A). They all support up to 18 kW of photovoltaic power across 3 MPPT channels and the same Heiwit sodium-ion batteries.

How many batteries can be connected to the Lybra?

Up to 3 Heiwit sodium-ion batteries in parallel, providing 30 kWh of storage capacity, via 2 battery inputs with a voltage range of 30–60 V and 125 A per input.

Does it work during a power cut?

Yes. The switchover time to backup mode is less than 10 ms, and the inverter can handle peaks of up to 20 kVA for 10 seconds.

Can it be installed outdoors?

The protection rating is IP65 and the operating temperature ranges from −25 °C to +60 °C, with a reduction in power output above 45 °C. Cooling is provided by an intelligent ventilation system, with a noise level of less than 45 dB(A).

What is the difference between Lybra and Virgo?

The Lybra is three-phase (3/N/PE, 230/400 V), with 3 MPPT trackers and up to 18 kW of photovoltaic capacity, for loads ranging from 6 to 12 kW. The Virgo is single-phase, rated from 3 to 6 kW, with 2 MPPT trackers and up to 9 kW of photovoltaic capacity. Both models use the same 48 V Heiwit batteries.

Is the Lybra CEI 0-21 certified?

Yes. The Heiwit Lybra three-phase inverter is CEI 0-21 certified for connection to the Italian low-voltage grid. The certification is issued by TÜV Rheinland: certificate no. A3 50741827 0001 of 21 August 2026.

Who is responsible for the warranty and after-sales service?

Heiwit, directly in Italy, with a 10-year warranty. The Lybra is sold and installed exclusively through the Heiwit installer network.
