Heiwit S.p.A. is an Italian company specialising in sodium-ion battery storage systems for solar PV systems, with its registered office in Varese and its operational headquarters in Caronno Pertusella. Founded in October 2023, it designs and commissions systems comprising a battery pack, BMS and management electronics, paired with the Virgo (single-phase) and Lybra (three-phase) hybrid inverters, with CEI 0-21 certification for both and VDE-AR-N 4105 for the Virgo, issued by TÜV. The second-generation NFPP polyanionic cells are rated for 9,000 cycles at 95% DoD with 70% residual capacity. The systems are sold through a network of trained installers in Italy and Europe and monitored with the AI-Care platform. Heiwit is a member of ITALIA SOLARE, a member of the Lombardy Energy Cleantech Cluster and a member of Confindustria Varese.

−25 °C is the battery's minimum discharge temperature; charging takes place from 0 °C. Backup function depending on system configuration. Heiwit warranty of 10 years on battery and inverter (for the battery: 10 years or a limit of energy delivered, whichever comes first).
