Verona, 7–8 October 2026. Heiwit took part in Solar & Storage Live Italia 2026 at Veronafiere, with a stand dedicated to sodium-ion energy storage systems and a talk at the Storage Theatre.
The stand
On display at the stand were the sodium-ion battery and the Virgo and Lybra hybrid inverters, together with real data collected by the AI-Care platform from installed systems. Two days of meetings with installers, designers and distributors from Italy and abroad.
Lo speech
On 7 October at 13:30, Heiwit's CEO gave the talk “Sodium-ion energy storage: present and future prospects”at the Storage Theatre. It covered three topics: the comparison between sodium, thermal salt and lithium (energy density, cycles, temperatures and safety); compatibility with existing inverters (voltage windows and BMS protocols); and the shift from price per kWh to the cost of energy over the life cycle (LCOS).
The slides from the talk can be requested from the dedicated page; photos of the stand and the talk are on the event closing page.
In the press
During the trade fair, pv magazine Italia interviewed Heiwit about its second-generation cells and its factory in the province of Varese: “Sodium batteries, Italy's gamble: 9,000 cycles and a 100 MWh factory in Lombardy” (9 October 2026).
