Residential projects that have adopted HEIWIT sodium ion storage solutions include an installation in Fiumicino, in the province of Rome, inside a recently renovated single-storey villa.
The intervention involved a young family consisting of a mother, father, a three-year-old child and grandfather, attentive to environmental and energy efficiency issues. The home is completely electrically powered, using technologies such as inverter air conditioners and an induction hob, and has recently undergone an electrical system makeover, built in a single-phase configuration.
A solution tailored to the real needs of the family
The characteristics of the house and the annual consumption profile proved to be particularly suitable for the adoption of the HEIWIT 6 kW kit with 10 kWh storage, a configuration capable of supporting domestic self-consumption and accompanying the household's energy needs over time.
The project was designed with the objective of ensuring cost savings, system reliability and continuity of use. The presence of a new generation sodium ion battery was evaluated as a key element to ensure a long system life without the need for short-term replacement.
An installation by Crafty Energy Srl SB
The design and realisation of the plant were supervised by Crafty Energy Srl SB, a company founded five years ago by three professionals who chose to combine their experiences with the aim of developing renewable energy projects and generating a positive and responsible impact on the territory.
Crafty Energy Srl SB operates mainly in the Lazio and throughout central Italy, dealing with the design and implementation of energy solutions oriented towards sustainability and efficiency.
Installation and first impressions
From an operational point of view, the installation of the HEIWIT system was simple and intuitive. Configuration and commissioning went smoothly, with a user-friendly interface and constant support from the HEIWIT team during all phases of the project.
The aesthetics of the product were also appreciated: the design was judged to be modern and pleasing, a not insignificant element in a residential context where the visual integration of the system plays an important role.
Domestic accumulation and long-term vision
The project realised in Fiumicino is a concrete example of how HEIWIT sodium ion storage systems can also be applied in the domestic environment, accompanying environmentally sensitive families towards a more conscious and autonomous energy management.
