The Heiwit plant in Almè: a home increasingly oriented towards the electrification of consumption

6 May 2026 | Gallery installations

Heiwit's storage solutions continue to be key players in residential projects focused on energy efficiency and the progressive electrification of homes.

This is the case of the installation carried out in Almè, in the province of Bergamo, by Arizzi Impianti Elettrici, where the customer chose to invest in a photovoltaic system with storage to support the evolution of their home towards ever-increasing electrical consumption, gradually replacing their methane-powered utilities.

A plant designed for future consumption

The project's aim was to create a system capable of supporting new domestic electrical loads over time, including:

  • heat pump
  • Induction hob
  • Future consumption linked to electric mobility

For this reason, they have been installed on the South/South-West slope of the dwelling:

  • 19 Astroenergy N7s modules
  • Tigo optimisers monitorable via app
  • a total output of 8.65 kWp

The choice of the Heiwit system

For the storage system, the Heiwit solution has been chosen, which is particularly suitable for the installation context.

The inverter needed to be housed in a confined space with limited ventilation, a condition that could have caused critical problems for traditional systems.

The installed configuration includes:

  • Inverter Heiwit Virgo
  • 10 kWh low voltage battery NA-48V210AH

The system has been sized to support the initial developments of a fully electric home, while also retaining the possibility of a future expansion up to 20 kWh, also in anticipation of the arrival of an electric car.

Quick installation and intuitive management

From an operational standpoint, the installation and programming of the inverter were quick and intuitive.

The monitoring application was also immediately understood by the end customer, who began using the system's control functions straight away.

A further advantage came from the remote management of the system: during the activation procedures, the remote self-test avoided further on-site interventions, reducing downtime and minimising inconvenience for the customer.

The ability to carry out numerous remote checks, by both the installer and the manufacturer, also ensures rapid and effective technical assistance without the need for physical intervention on the system.
