Today, Heiwit plants have reached a new milestone: 3 MWh of clean energy produced in a single day.

An important result, which concretely showcases the value of our model: transforming available surfaces, photovoltaic systems and technology into real, measurable and useful energy. This is not just a technical figure, but renewable energy entering the system, reducing emissions and contributing to the creation of environmental and economic value.

Producing 3 MWh in a day means generating three megawatt-hours of electrical energy over a twenty-four-hour period.

3 MWh is equivalent to 3,000 kWh of electricity produced from solar energy in a single day.

To give an order of magnitude, considering an annual domestic consumption of around 4,000 kWh, this daily production is equivalent to approximately 75% of a household’s annual requirements. Or, viewed another way, it is enough energy to cover the average daily consumption of many homes at the same time.

CO₂ savings: 1.44 tonnes in one day

Every kWh produced from solar energy helps reduce reliance on energy generated from fossil fuels. Using the Heiwit reference coefficient of 0.48 kg of CO₂ avoided for each kWh produced, today's record production leads to an estimated saving of:

3,000 kWh × 0.48 kg CO₂/kWh = 1,440 kg of CO₂ avoided

This means that in a single day, the Heiwit plants have avoided the emission of approximately 1.44 tonnes of CO₂. It is a result that makes the concrete impact of photovoltaics visible: every sunny day becomes clean energy, every kWh produced becomes avoided emissions.
